An evangelist travels from church to church building up, renewing, and increasing the size of the church. While pastors are paid by their congregations, Jon Cash relies on donations from those churches he preaches at and the people of faith who are blessed by the work of God that he is performing. The Bible clearly teaches that evangelists are critical to the mission of the Christian church.
